Data capture by The LPF league office

Just sharing what data I have captured over the last 5 seasons for the regular season games only (no mickey mouse cups or euro flash games) ... just the only true measure of a managers mettle ... 11 games home, 11 games away ... and the playoff games

(though I have the results, I don't have the data for the 1st season's playoff games ... who would have thunk it that when you clicked on Season 1 results in the drop down when Season 2 had started and nothing happened ?  I guess the SM developers were busy arguing over the Messi goatee shape and size in their arcade emoji version of the game) ...

That said ... rant over .... here it is

GK, rating, MoM (Y) .. shaded off for clean sheets ... Week, Home Team, Away Team, Crowd, Home Score, Away Score, recorded minute each goal was scored

Minutes the home team led, was drawing and was losing ... same for the away team, match stat summary ... possession, shots at goal, shots on target, corners, yellows and red for each team

A grid of the time in the match the goals were scored, and conceded (10 minute increments; 0-10, 11-20, 21-30, etc) - from the Home Team's view ... and monkey math flip flop to look at the Away Team view ... and then a summary by 1st 45 and 2nd 45 of the same data

Before you accuse me of being some sad sack computer nerd .... ok .... well maybe a little ... but I work in spreadsheets and with data all day and this is kind of what I do so no, it doesn't take me hours and hours to do this each week ...

I know that when the league formed and the blog was put out there by DP there was a valid concern  from the T100 managers that this might detract from the T100 blog.  I don't think anyone wants that.  But what we have in The LPF stats is something that probably doesn't exist in but a few leagues in all of SM ... a guy with mad spreadsheet skills yo' ... and some time on his hands that keeps him out of too many bars every week who has an complete and accurate record of all regular season league games (and all but a handful of playoff games stats details) who can maybe do something with the blog a little unique

Next up I will put together a blog post with manager stats ... inception to date ... that will truly define the 'special ones' among us ....

Cheers
Mike T
